Christy and Tiffani started The Steel Room in 2013 after their love for exercise and healthy cooking and eating garnered some attention from a few people in the community. The few became many, and the business grew from outdoor workouts in the yard, and meal suggestions on MyFitnessPal, into a full scale, functional fitness facility with a meal prep kitchen, and meal plans approved by an in house dietician.
Christy's background in Exercise Science and Physical Therapy coupled with her 14+ years of personal training experience are just a few things that make her ability to create, lead, and coach effective workouts and programs for all types of people, and all sizes of groups.
Tiffani has been cooking and creating meals for 20 years after growing a garden full of vegetables that she didn't know what to do with! She paired her knowledge of food and recipes with her love of fitness 8 years ago when she became a certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist focusing on producing fat loss, and creating wellness by pairing food choices and athleticism.

Arendale attended her first class at the Steel Room in September 2016 after seeing some social media posts made by friends. She had fallen into a depression after allowing multiple surgeries, sidelining injuries, and the craziness of life to become excuses for not taking care of herself for years! She needed motivation and accountability to dig herself out because alone, she felt stuck.
The decision to walk through those doors was life changing.
The Steel Room instantly became her happy place! It was the place where she found the motivation and accountability she was looking for, along with so much more! With an ALL-IN attitude, Arendale put into practice the training and direction that Christy and Tiffani provide, and she had phenomenal results. Body fat percentage, weight, and inches dropped consistently over the next 8 months as her fitness level, confidence, and meal prepping skills increased.
As a trained educator and lifelong learner, she thrived on learning from these trainers and helping others find success. In October 2017, she became a NASM certified trainer and joined The Steel Room team. She specializes in Stretch, Spartan, Strike, Circuit, and has even taught many classes for school-age children. When not leading classes at The Steel Room, you can often find Arendale on a hiking trail in the mountains or traveling out West with her family exploring the beauty in nature.
Nichole attended her first class at the Steel Room in January 2018 when a friend asked her to join the 6 week bootcamp. She was a previous cheerleader/gymnast, and really wanted to get back into shape! The decision to try a class was a game changer, and she fell in love with working out. Nichole has lost 60 pounds since joining the Steel Room! She was inspired by Strut instructor, Tracey Halter, and wanted to get her certification to teach dance too! Exactly one year after her first session at The Steel Room, Nichole became an ISSA certified personal trainer! She currently teaches Steel Strut, Steel Drum, and Low Impact Bootcamp Classes at The Steel Room. When she is not teaching classes, you can find Nichole as an assistant principal, or on trips with her husband Adriel and son Jaydan.
